On a recent training hike I stumbled upon this little dog. His owner said that “he doesn’t do well in the heat.” The visual of him stopping from his walk and rolling around in the shade made me laugh. A few minutes later I noticed that his “mom” ended up carrying him the rest of the way. Too cute!
I know that while on my Camino when I’m hot, tired, feeling down and in pain, that no one will carry me the rest of the way to Santiago. I will have to get there on my own steam. As I did when I was training for my first marathon, I need to find a way to motivate myself to keep moving and push through the difficult patches that I’ll experience.
I made a list of motivational words to help get me through any difficult times and that will hopefully carry me all the way to Santiago de Compostela and finish my Camino.
